A total of 19 scholarships for Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, Academic, and Senior Academic Programs
- Application Start Date: November 18, 2024
- Application Deadline: January 24, 2025, 5:00 PM (Turkiye Time)
- Oral Exam Dates: January 27-28, 2025, 10:00 AM (Turkiye Time)
(Oral exams will be conducted face-to-face.)
Special Requirements
- Applicants must be citizens of the Republic of Turkiye.
- Scholarship Benefits:
- Tuition fee waiver
- Free dormitory or accommodation support
- Monthly stipend:
- 2,500 Yuan for Bachelor’s programs
- 3,000 Yuan for Master’s programs and academic programs
- 3,500 Yuan for Doctorate and Senior Academic programs
- Health insurance (valued at 800 Yuan annually)
- For Bachelor’s programs, applicants must be under 25 and hold a high school diploma.
- For Master’s programs, applicants must be under 35 and hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- For Doctorate programs, applicants must be under 40 years old and hold a Master’s degree.
- For General Academic programs, applicants must have completed at least two years of undergraduate study and be under 45.
- For Senior Academic programs, applicants must hold a Master’s degree or an Associate Professorship (or higher) and be under 50.
- Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy without health issues preventing them from traveling abroad.
- International travel expenses are the responsibility of the applicants.
- Applications must be submitted to the Ministry via basvuru.meb.gov.tr online. Candidates without an online application will not be admitted to the oral exam.

Documents Required by the Chinese Side
- Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form (in Chinese or English)
- Passport Copy: Valid beyond March 1, 2026.
- Notarized Copy of the Most Recent Diploma: If the diploma is not yet issued, a document from the school certifying eligibility to graduate must be provided. Notarized translations in these languages must accompany documents in languages other than Chinese or English.
- Academic Transcript: Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must include notarized translations in these languages.
- Language Proficiency Certificates: HSK, IELTS, or TOEFL certificates.
- Pre-Admission Letter: Required for Master’s and higher programs from the applied university. A letter of invitation from a professor is also acceptable.
- Study Plan or Research Proposal:
- Minimum 200 words for Bachelor’s programs
- 500 words for non-degree applicants
- 800 words for postgraduate applicants (in Chinese or English).
- Recommendation Letters: Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors in Chinese or English for Master’s or Senior Academic programs.
- For Music Applicants: Submit personal works.
- For Fine Arts Applicants: Submit two sketches, two color paintings, and two works of other types.
- For Applicants Under 18: Submit valid documents of legal guardians in China.
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form for applicants planning to stay in China for over six months.
- Must cover all required fields and include the hospital’s official stamp and the doctor’s signature.
- Police Clearance Certificate: Must be in English.
- Agency Number: 7921; Program Category: Type A.

Important Notes on Document Submission
- Documents must be clear, original, and valid.
- Submissions in Chinese or English are mandatory.
- Responsibility for inaccurate or unclear document submissions lies with the applicant.
Documents to Be Submitted on Oral Exam Day
- Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form
- Notarized copy of the diploma or an official graduation eligibility document.
- Notarized copy of the academic transcript with Chinese or English translation.
- Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors (for Master’s or Senior Academic programs).
- Study Plan or Research Proposal:
- 200 words for Bachelor’s programs
- 500 words for non-degree research
- 800 words for postgraduate studies (in Chinese or English).
- Pre-Admission Letter from relevant Chinese universities or departments.
- For Music Applicants: Submit personal works.
For Fine Arts Applicants: Submit two sketches, two color paintings, and two works of other types. - Documents of legal guardians in China for applicants under 18.
- Language Proficiency Certificate (minimum C-level for English or Chinese proficiency).
- HSK certificate for Chinese proficiency.
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
- Passport Copy: Valid beyond March 1, 2026.
- Turkish ID card copy.
- Police Clearance Certificate (in English).
Important Notes:
- Documents must be submitted in three copies within three separate binders.
- Incomplete or improperly prepared documents will not be accepted.
- Applicants must ensure that their online applications are complete and accurate.
- Applicants must be present at the specified oral exam date and time without waiting for additional invitations or emails from the Ministry.
Oral Exam Details
- Oral exams for Bachelor’s and Doctorate applicants will be held on January 27, 2025.
- Oral exams for Master’s applicants will be held on January 28, 2025.
- Applicants must bring all required documents to the oral exam in three copies.
- Incomplete or improperly prepared documents will not be processed.
