A new partnership agreement signed between the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality and the Chinese Industrialists and Businesspeople Association (CINSIAD) positions Gaziantep as a promising hub for Chinese investment.
During the official signing ceremony, Mayor of Gaziantep Fatma Şahin emphasized that the city’s industrial and cultural strengths will be directly introduced to Chinese investors, paving the way for expanded business cooperation.

Under the agreement, both parties committed to working jointly to attract Chinese investment into Gaziantep. CINSIAD will actively promote the city to Chinese investors as a prime location for ventures in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, energy, and technology. The cooperation will include mutual business delegations, collaborative project development, and the establishment of networks between the two countries’ business communities.
Beyond economic investment, the agreement also outlines plans for cultural collaboration. Gaziantep’s renowned gastronomy, museum culture, and historical heritage will be showcased to Chinese tourists. Joint cultural and social events are also on the agenda to strengthen people-to-people ties.
Speaking at the event, Mayor Şahin stated, “With its production capacity and cultural richness, Gaziantep has become an attractive destination for international investors. Through this cooperation, we will directly present Gaziantep’s potential to Chinese partners and foster new business opportunities.”
