Special Speaker
Qiao Liu(刘俏)
Dean, Professor of Finance
Guanghua School of Management, Peking University
Liu Qiao is the Dean of the Guanghua School of Management and a Professor of Finance. A leading voice on national economic strategy, he serves as a member of the Expert Committee for China’s 14th and 15th Five-Year Plans, shaping the country’s economic direction at the highest level.
An esteemed Changjiang Scholar and recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Dean Liu was named “Influential Chinese Economist of the Year” by China Newsweek in 2017. His research focuses on corporate finance, asset pricing, and China’s economic transformation. His influential publications include From Big to Great 2.0: Rebuilding the Micro-foundations of China’s High-Quality Development.
Keynote Speaker
Li-An Zhou(周黎安)
Professor of Applied Economics
Guanghua School of Management, Peking University
Zhou Li’an is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at Peking University and a Boya Chair Professor. A distinguished Changjiang Scholar and member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Professor Zhou is recognized for his insightful research and dedication to teaching.
He was honored as one of Peking University’s “Top Ten Teachers.” His expertise lies in political economy, industrial organization, and China’s economic transition and development.
MiM Program Insights
Xinzhong Xu(徐信忠)
Professor of Finance
Guanghua School of Management, Peking University
Xu Xinzhong is a Professor of Finance at Guanghua whose distinguished career bridges international finance and Chinese academia. Before joining Peking University, he served as a Financial Economist for the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England and held a Chair Professorship in Finance at Lancaster University Management School.
He was also the first Chairman of the Board of the China Finance Annual Meeting, and previously served as Senior Associate Dean of Guanghua School of Management and Vice Dean of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School.
