Scholarship Coverage

  1. Registration and Tuition Fees: Fully covered (see table below for tuition fee details).
  2. Accommodation: Not covered (see table below for accommodation fee details).
  3. Personal Living Allowance: Not covered.
  4. Other Expenses: Comprehensive medical insurance, textbook fees, and other costs are not covered.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must:

  1. Be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and have good physical and mental health.
  2. Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with outstanding academic performance and be under 25.
  3. Provide an HSK Level 4 certificate for Chinese-taught undergraduate programs. (Note: Beginners are accepted for the TCSOL program.)
  4. Submit valid IELTS (minimum 5.5), TOEFL (minimum 70), or equivalent certificates for English-taught undergraduate programs.
  5. Meet the academic requirements of Guangxi Minzu University.

Application Procedures and Deadline

  1. Submit scanned copies of all required documents to gxmddxb@163.com. Paper documents sent by post are not needed.
  2. The application deadline is June 30, 2025.

Required Application Documents

  1. Application Form: Guangxi Minzu University Scholarship.
  2. Passport Copy: Scanned information page.
  3. Diploma and Certificate of Highest Education: Current students should submit a certificate of expected graduation or student status issued by their school.
  4. Academic Transcripts: Non-Chinese or non-English transcripts must include notarized translations in Chinese or English.
  5. Language Proficiency Certificate:
    • HSK score report for Chinese-taught programs.
    • IELTS, TOEFL, or equivalent certification for English-taught programs.
  6. Study or Research Plan: At least 200 words, written in Chinese or English.
  7. Legal Guardian Documents: For applicants under 18 years of age.
  8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form:
    • Use the original form from Chinese quarantine authorities (Attachment 3).
    • Ensure the form is completed in English and includes the attending physician’s signature, official hospital stamp, and a sealed photograph. Incomplete forms are invalid.
    • Results are valid for six months.
  9. Certificate of Non-Criminal Record: Issued by the local public security office within six months before the application date.

Reminder: Ensure that uploaded documents are clear, authentic, and valid. Use a professional device for scanning. Unclear or unidentifiable materials may lead to application rejection.


Admission and Enrollment

Guangxi Minzu University will review applicants’ eligibility and academic performance. Final admission will be determined after an exam or video interview. Successful applicants will receive an admission notice. Ensure all provided postal and contact information is accurate. Enroll by the deadline specified in the admission notice.
