- Year 1: Students will complete coursework, research, and thesis preparation at Tianjin University.
- Year 2: Based on work experience and major requirements, students may conduct research related to their thesis under the guidance of their supervisors in their home countries. The thesis defense can be conducted online.
Upon meeting the graduation and thesis defense requirements of Tianjin University, students will be awarded a Master’s degree and a graduation certificate.

Step 2: Apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS)
Once you receive your Pre-admission Letter from Tianjin University, you must:
- Register online and submit your application materials via the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System before March 31, 2025.
- Select “Type A” as the scholarship type.
- Use 1563 as the acceptance agency code.
- Choose “Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program Chinese Government Scholarship” as the applied program.

Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, under 45 years old, and in good physical and mental health.
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of work experience is required. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant education or professional backgrounds.
- The applicant must belong to one of the following categories:
- Government employees (division-level leaders or equivalent positions).
- Senior executives in institutions or enterprises.
- University or research institution administrators.
- Individuals with internships or work experience in international organizations.
- Applicants must meet the admission requirements of the Master’s Programs at Tianjin University (2025) and obtain a Pre-admission Letter.
Scholarship Coverage
The full scholarship covers a one-year period, with the specific funding standards subject to the China Scholarship Council (CSC) regulations for that year.
Admission Process
- The China Scholarship Council (CSC) will conduct a preliminary review of application materials.
- Final admission decisions will be made based on expert evaluations organized by the CSC.
