The Beijing International Students Scholarship has been established by the university to motivate self-funded students to excel in their studies and research. The aim is to foster high-level talent with excellent academic achievements and strong character.

I. Eligible Categories and Scholarship Details

This scholarship is available to students applying for Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and PhD programs.

The scholarship will cover only the tuition fees for the first year and will not include other charges.

II. Application Procedure

1. Applicants should download the “Beijing International Students Scholarship Application Form (For New Students Only)” from the official website of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU).
2. Applicants must complete the online application through the BLCU Application System (https://apply.blcu.edu.cn) and upload the required documents as per the course and scholarship form. Alternatively, the completed scholarship form can be sent via email to the following addresses:

• For Associate and Bachelor’s Degree applicants: undergraduate@blcu.edu.cn
• For Master’s and PhD applicants: graduate@blcu.edu.cn

3. Only candidates who receive approval from the International Student Scholarship Committee will be granted the scholarship. Successful candidates will receive the “Admission Notice for Beijing International Students Scholarship.” Otherwise, applicants will be responsible for their own tuition fees.
4. Should the applicant choose not to enroll at BLCU, the submitted application materials will not be returned, and the application fee will not be refunded.

III. Application Deadlines and Scholarship Results

• For March 2025 enrollment: Submit your application by January 12, 2025, and scholarship results will be announced in February 2025.
• For September 2025 enrollment: Submit your application by June 15, 2025, and scholarship results will be announced in August 2025.
