Program Introduction

Program Highlights

Five enriching weeks at USTC
Research experience in state-of-the-art labs

Research Projects
Applicants are encouraged to propose up to two supervisors they would like to work with in their application. Some of our esteemed professors have already expressed a strong interest in working with exceptional students in this program. You can view a list of potential supervisors on the Project & Supervisor page.

If the listed supervisors or research topics do not align with your areas of interest, you can explore additional potential supervisors [HERE] and submit your application for the program.

Program Duration
June 28th to July 31st, 2025 (5 weeks)

Qualifications

Full-time registered undergraduate or graduate student at your home university during your stay at USTC
Must have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in the relevant field by the start of the program
Excellent academic record, demonstrating potential and passion for research
Good knowledge of English

Waived tuition and registration fees, with on-campus housing provided
USTC Fellowship for outstanding students, including a travel grant and meal plan
Priority consideration for future USTC degree program applicants for scholarships

The application deadline is Saturday, March 15th, 2025.

A personal statement explaining your academic background and motivation for applying to the selected research project(s)

Provisional Acceptance Form (only if your proposed supervisor is not listed on the Project & Supervisor page; click HERE to download the form)
