The Silk Road Scholarship is designed to support outstanding international students pursuing undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degrees in full-time, Chinese-taught programs.

• Full Scholarship: 30 slots
• Half Scholarship: 20 slots

• Full tuition waiver
• Free accommodation for 10 months
• Monthly living allowance:
  • CNY 1,500 for bachelor’s and master’s students
  • CNY 3,500 for doctoral students

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must:

1. Be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport and in good physical and mental health
2. Meet the academic and age requirements:
   • Bachelor’s: High school diploma, age 18–25
   • Master’s: Bachelor’s degree, age 20–28
   • PhD: Master’s degree, age 20–35
3. Comply with Chinese laws and LZJTU rules
4. Not hold any other scholarships
5. HSK Language Proficiency:
   • General programs: HSK 4 with a score of 200+
   • Chinese Language Teaching: HSK 6 with a score of 180+
6. Have no academic or disciplinary warnings on record

📄 Required Application Documents

1. Passport copy (valid beyond Sept 2025)
2. China visa pages and entry/exit records (if applicable)
3. Notarized diploma or proof of expected graduation
4. Academic transcripts
5. HSK language certificate (Level 4 or 6 as required)
6. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (valid for 6 months)
7. Study or research plan (minimum 500 words, in Chinese or English)
8. Two academic recommendation letters (for master’s or PhD applicants)
9. Certificates of extracurricular or social activities (if any)
10. Non-criminal record certificate issued within the last 6 months

3. Pay fees online (registration + accommodation) to finalize admission

5. Receive admission documents via email (Admission Notice + JW202 Visa Form)
6. Register on campus on the specified date with original documents

⚠️ Admission will be revoked for:

• Fake/forged documents
• Failure to pass physical re-check or entrance exams
• Late registration

🔁 Annual Scholarship Review

• Scholarships are reviewed annually.
• Students who fail the assessment may lose their scholarship and continue as self-funded students.
• Eligible self-funded students can reapply in future assessments.
