1. Category of Enrollment

Full-time postgraduates (Master’s, Ph.D.) will start studying from September 2025.

2. Eligibility

Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens. Applicants who apply for master’s programs should be under 35 years old and have a bachelor’s degree. Applicants who apply for doctoral programs should be under 40 years old and have a master’s degree. Scholarship Coverage a. Full scholarship: Exempt from tuition fee; Provide school-arranged accommodation; Provide living allowance in China; Provide comprehensive medical care insurance for international students. b. Partial scholarship is Subject to the CSC admission decision.

3. Application Procedures

Step 1: Apply Online1. Submit the ECNU online application and pay the application fee. The applicant should register and apply online through http://lxsapply.ecnu.edu.cn/. Submit an online application and pay the application fee of 800RMB, which is non-refundable whether the applicant is accepted.

2. Submit CSC online application. Applicants should register and apply online through https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login (the institutional code of ECNU is 10269, and the scholarship type is Type B). Submit an online application and download the application form.

Step 2: Track Application Status OnlineCheck your email or log in to your ECNU online application account to track your application status.

* Ensure your email address is correct and check your email regularly to avoid missing IMPORTANT INFORMATION such as interview arrangements.

Step 3: Admission and University EnrollmentAdminssion results will be announced through the ECNU application account. Admitted students must register on time with the original graduation and degree certificates. Registration will be canceled if failure to provide the original certificate.

4. Application Deadline

March 1st, 2025, 05Admission University reviews the application documents and decides on the nominated candidates. The CSC reviews the eligibility and qualifications of nominated candidates and approves the List of Scholarship Recipients.
