What is the China Excellence Youth Program?

Are There Language Requirements?

What is the Duration of the Scholarship?
The program typically lasts for one year. However, some programs follow a “1+1” model, where students spend the first academic year in China and the second year working on their thesis in their home country.
What Are the Eligibility Criteria?
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a citizen of a country other than China,
Be under 45 years of age and in good physical and mental health,
Hold a bachelor’s degree with at least three years of work experience,
Have professional training or work experience relevant to the program applied for.
Additionally, candidates should belong to one of the following categories:

Top executives in organizations or enterprises,
Managers at universities or research institutions,
Individuals with work or internship experience in international organizations.
Application Process and Deadline
Applications must be completed online by 11:59 PM Beijing Time on March 31, 2025. Candidates should upload their documents and finalize their application through the university’s portal.
How to Apply?
Log into the China Government Scholarship System (http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) to submit your application.
Select “Type A” for the scholarship type and use agency code 1563 to complete the application.
